What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living explained

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support where participants live in a shared or individual home with on-site support workers available around the clock. SIL is designed for people who need regular support with daily living tasks but want to live as independently as possible.

SIL funding is included in your NDIS plan under Supports in Supported Independent Living. Your support coordinator or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) can help you understand if SIL is right for you and whether it is funded in your plan.

How SIL works

NDIS plan includes SIL funding

We assess suitability together

We work with you, your support coordinator and any relevant allied health professionals to understand your needs and assess whether one of our homes is the right fit.

Move in and build independence

Once matched to a home, our support team works alongside you to deliver your roster of care, build daily living skills and support community participation.
